Using Companies House to Add Offices to Our UK Tracking Map
Our UK Sales Office tracking map is an open-source community resource developed by Devilcorp.org to monitor the locations of direct marketing offices affiliated with Credico and Appco across the UK.
These companies operate under the guise of independent businesses, strategically avoiding making public links to their parent companies or to each other. The offices also frequently undergo name changes and relocations, in a continuous effort to ensure their profitability and ongoing success. This is why ensuring that the public has easy access to information on their operations is so important.
Companies House, the UK Government’s official registry of all businesses, is one of the most useful resources we have at our disposal. Although these sales office may not all operate by the names they are legally registered under, they are still legally considered independent businesses, and consequently have their own Companies House pages and UK company numbers. It’s through finding each sales office’s UK company number, and using this as a VLOOKUP reference against Companies House’s monthly data updates, we are able to develop this map and track each time an office is renamed, relocated, or dissolved.

Find the Office’s Companies House Page/Company Number
Gather at least two key pieces of information about a company you suspect to be a Credico or Appco sales office, such as their trading name, address, or the names of any controlling officers (AKA the office’s ‘owners’). These can be found on their website, social media, or other parts of their digital footprint. Some offices even have their UK company numbers directly on their website, see Alpha Gamma Solutions website below.
We can then use this collected information to search for the office's Companies House page. This page will contain crucial up to date details about the company, including its company number which will allow us to track it even after it renames itself or relocates.
Determine the Office’s Parent Company
Once we have the office’s Companies House page, we’ll be able to use a combination of context clues and further research to determine its parent company.

Looking through a sales office’s filing history is one of the most effective ways of determining if it’s connected to either Credico or Appco. These parent companies will relocate their subsidiary sales offices between the same few addresses, making it easy for us to spot when a sales office has previously operated in the same space as others already known to be affiliated with Credico or Appco.
